Hope Publishing

Every family has a story worth keeping.

We turn the recorded histories of underserved families into professionally crafted books — so voices that have gone unheard are preserved, honored, and shared. And we do it for free.

Time may not be on his side. But Hope Publishing is.

Hope Publishing is the publishing division of We Help People Everywhere. The parent organization helps people build things that help people. This is one of those things — our impact aimed at families whose stories have never been recorded, simply because they couldn’t afford to.

A grandmother carries decades of history in her memory — where the family came from, what they survived, who they loved. When she is gone, that history is often gone with her. We exist to change that.

How It Works

From a living-room conversation to a lasting book — we give families the tools to capture their history, and then we do the craft, at no cost to them.

STEP 01

Record

With technology and AI-assisted tools we help provide, a family records their own history — a grandson interviewing his grandfather — on video or audio, in their own voice.

STEP 02

Send It to Us

The family shares the recording with Hope Publishing. That original is preserved intact as the archival master — all of our work is done on copies.

STEP 03

We Craft It

We listen closely and shape the raw recording into a story that reads well and honors the person who told it — edited, designed, and produced to a professional standard.

STEP 04

Share It — Free

We deliver a finished ebook the family can hold, share, and pass down, and help distribute it to the community and beyond. No cost, ever.

Books & Stories

Every book has a person behind it. Here is one we’re crafting right now.

The Poetry of Rick Thagard

“Time may not be on his side. But Hope Publishing is.”

Rick Thagard is a double-lung transplant recipient. More than ten years after his transplant — ten hard-won years of success — he came to us with a wish that money and time had put out of reach: to have his life’s poetry transcribed and published in a form his children can hold and read after he is gone.

So that’s what we’re building. Hope Publishing is curating, editing, designing, and producing a professional Publisher’s Edition of Rick’s poetry — a real book, made to last, so his words stay with his family long after the conversation ends.

● In production now

More books and stories will live here as they’re completed — each one a family’s history, preserved for good.

Share Your Story

Stories that need to be told, told by people who have not been heard.

Hope Publishing is made possible by We Help People Everywhere, Inc. Your support helps us keep crafting these books — and keep them free for the families who need them.
